As expected, Tamra Judge and her daughter Sidney are still using social media to convey their feelings towards one another. Technically, the drama began a few years ago, when Tamra’s 18-year-old daughter moved out to live with her father and Tamra’s ex husband, Simon Barney. Since then, Sidney has made little to no contact with her mother, and Tamra even teared up during a reunion episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, claiming that she hadn’t seen Sidney in 2 years.
Recently, Sidney posted a very lengthy Facebook post, detailing the reasons why she has disassociated herself with her mother, explaining that her reasoning had nothing to do with Tamra’s divorce from Simon, but instead because she provided terrible living conditions and was completely obsessed with fame.
“I want to start by clearing some things up as my mother continues to talk about me despite me requesting her to stop speaking of me publically as I don’t want to be associated with her or the show.” Sidney wrote in the post, which has since been deleted.
“The reasons I left my mothers house are that she was neglectful (leaving us at home with no food or simply ignoring us entirely), she constantly put herself first and the biggest reason was that she was mentally and emotionally abusive.” Sidney went on.
Since this post made headlines, Tamra has been relatively quiet, aside from calling her daughter “brainwashed” by her ex, and defending herself for paying for Sidney’s “expensive college”. Just a day after Sidney’s posted, Tamra held a vow renewal ceremony in Aruba with her husband of 4 years, Eddie Judge. Needless to say, Sidney was not in attendance. While everything seemed to be sunsets and smiles for Tamra, she alluded to the drama with her daughter in a photo caption, writing: “Celebrating love...with all the hate that's going on. May God bless your life because it's not always easy. But God has a plan.. a big plan.”
That wasn’t the end of it, however. Tamra continued to share photos from her beautiful Aruba trip, but still felt the need to address the controversy surrounding herself and Sidney.
“I want to say thank you to everyone that has reached out to me to see if I'm okay. I/We are trying our best to enjoy our vacation. Thank you to my Mom who is not taking this very well and feels the need to defend me. I love you Mom,” she continued. “I love my daughter and I would NEVER abuse, hurt or neglect her in any way. I ask that you do not send Sidney negative messages or comments, Direct them at me if feel the need. Thank you for all your love and support #godhasthisinhishands.” she said.
Sidney, who is relatively silent on all social media platforms generally, has yet to respond.
