She Dumped Four Ingredients Into The Slow Cooker To Make The Best Chicken And Stuffing

All she needed was four basic ingredients to make this delicious dinner. Who says you need to wait for Thanksgiving to have your favorites?

Stuffing might be a favorite dish that you normally only make on Thanksgiving, but why not have it more often?

It’s one of the best comfort foods, with gravy poured all over the top.

That’s why Jen from Cincy Shopper came up with the best recipe for an easy dinner using the slow cooker!

She made chicken and stuffing in her Crock-Pot using just four ingredients, and it is so delicious!

“I made this super easy slow cooker chicken and stuffing this weekend and I think it may just be my family’s favorite Crock-Pot meal yet,” Jen wrote on her blog post about the recipe. “With just a couple chicken breasts and some Stove Top stuffing, we have a comfort meal that is so super easy.”

It’s the perfect meal for fall to start getting you in the holiday spirit, and it’s great for those busy nights as well!

To make it, Jen started by first placing her boneless chicken breast in the bottom of her greased slow cooker.

She sprinkled a little bit of salt and pepper over the meat and then added the box of Stove Top stuffing mix over the chicken.

In a separate bowl, Jen mixed together two cans of cream of chicken soup and two cans of chicken broth until they were well combined.

Then, she poured the sauce over the stuffing and the chicken inside the slow cooker.

After giving everything just one more stir to make sure the stuffing was evenly coated, Jen put the lid on the Crock-Pot and left the dinner to cook for a few hours.

When it was finished, Jen spooned the stuffing onto plates, cut the chicken into smaller pieces, and served dinner with a side of veggies.

It’s so simple yet so delicious!

“You could even cut this recipe in half for a smaller family,” Jen wrote. “The larger chicken breasts cook well and can stretch far when serving with stuffing and veggies. The recipe is super simple and is so comforting for the cold months.”
