Holiday parties are never complete without a decent spread of appetizers for guests to graze on before the main dishes are done. Making enough food, however, can be a daunting task.
With Michelle's Sweet Sriracha Meatballs recipe, however, you'll be making 2 pounds of meatballs — all at the same time in your slow cooker — which ultimately means less stress for you, and more delicious food for your guests.
On Michelle's blog, A Dish of Daily Life, she even admitted herself that she loved this particular recipe "...one, it was easy, and two, I had a feeling everyone would like it. What’s easier than a meatballs recipe where you can just dump everything in the crockpot together and leave?!"
Here's how you can make it at home.
Coat the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray — or wipe it down thoroughly with olive oil.
Put 2 pounds of meatballs into the cooker. These meatballs can be homemade or store-bought, thawed or frozen. Anything works!
In a separate bowl, mix together ⅓-⅔ cup sriracha sauce (more or less, depending on how spicy you like your food), 1 can jellied cranberry sauce, ⅓-⅔ cup brown sugar (also depending on how sweet you'd like your meatballs to be), and ⅓ cup honey.
Pour this mixture on top of the meatballs, then cover the cooker and heat on Low for 2-3 hours. Be sure to stir constantly to ensure for the best flavor!
Serve warm and enjoy!
