Many times, the best recipes are always the ones that come with lengthy ingredient lists or an extremely long preparation time. This Sausage, Beer & Cheddar One Pot Pasta, however, is a recipe that defies those expectations. There are only 5 ingredients in this dish, and it only calls for 1 pot and 20 minutes of your time.

On the site, Everyday Cooking, Good Cook, the maker of this recipe wrote described this dish, "Like a grown-up version of Mac and Cheese, giant elicoidali noodles are thrown into a deep dish skillet then cooked for 15 minutes until a makes-it’s-own-sauce pasta is ready to serve. Seriously that simple..."

Here's how you can make this meal tonight.

Get a large, deep saute pan with a lid. Then, slice 6 links of cooked Italian sausage.

Inside the pot, stir together 8 oz. of your favorite pasta shape, 1 15-oz. can fire-roasted diced tomatoes, 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, 1 16-oz. can of your favorite beer, as well as the sliced sausages. Mix everything well to combine for an even flavor and cooking.

Bring the contents of the pot to a boil, then cover and cook for 12-15 minutes.

You'll know the dish is done when the pasta is soft and tender, just to your liking.

Sprinkle on some salt and pepper to taste. You can also slice some green onions and use them as garnish.
