There are so many different ways to cook eggs, but one of the easiest and most commonly used methods is to scramble them.
Although the method is in fact easy for the beginner, now is the time to really step up your game and learn how to make the perfect scrambled egg.
Plus, the way to do it is probably even less complicated than what you do already!
Teanna DiMicco from Spork or Foon shared the method for making the easiest, yummiest, and fluffiest scrambled eggs!
The trick? Instead of whisking the eggs with a fork, she just throws them in a blender!
“I am always trying to find ways to get the perfect scrambled egg,” Teanna wrote on her blog post about the trick. “A while back, I read in a magazine that diners will sometimes use blenders to blend eggs in order to really aerate them, resulting in a light and fluffy egg.”
It really is as simple as it sounds!
She starts by adding three eggs to the blender and mixing them together on high until they have reached full volume.
The second factor to this perfect egg is the heat of the pan,” Teanna wrote.
“The trick is to keep the stove on medium-low heat and let the eggs cook slowly in order to ensure the perfect texture,” she wrote.
From there, she just cooks the scrambled eggs on the stove as you normally would, stirring them so that they don’t burn and stick to the bottom of the pan.
Other than the mixer and the heat at which to cook the eggs, Teanna had a third trick to her perfect egg recipe: cream cheese!
“I will add a tablespoon of cream cheese towards the end of cooking to heighten the creamy texture (and you cannot taste the cream cheese at all) of the egg without it being runny,” Teanna wrote.
After that, all she had to do was top the finished eggs with salt, pepper, and chives!
The end result is so yummy, and these tiny modifications to the cooking method makes a huge difference!
