If you've gone to Disney, but haven't tried their famous Dole Pineapple Whip, you're seriously missing out. Many park visitors will wait hours just to get a dish of this famous dessert, and no matter how many times we've gone, we know we're always going to have cravings for this within just a day of leaving.
With Jen's Copycat Dole Pineapple Whip recipe though, now you can have Dole Whip whenever you'd like! Jen is a passionate Dole Whip lover herself.
She wrote on her blog, Cincy Shopper, "We went to Disney over Christmas break and I waited in line for close to an hour to enjoy a dish of their famous Dole Whip. I know some of you who have given this yumminess a try in the past can relate. This stuff is worth an hour wait in line, ha ha!"
Now here's how you can make this at home.
Toss 2 cup frozen pineapple chunks, 8 oz. frozen whipped topping (Jen uses Cool Whip!), 3 tablespoons honey (or 2 tablespoons sugar), and 6 oz. pineapple juice into a strong blender or food processor.
Turn on and blend until well whipped.
If you think the mixture is too wet and runny, add ¼ cup ice and process a little more until you're satisfied.
Spoon into bowls and serve!
If you want to get fancy, scoop it all into a piping bag fitted with a star tip and then pipe it into cups for a more authentic Disney feel.
